Review: I am utterly disappointed by the appalling behavior of one of your employees at Domino’s. My husband, an American of Hispanic descent, went to collect our order. The staff member called out “Ashutosh,” which my husband, unfamiliar with Indian names, did not understand and mistakenly accepted the order. Upon realizing the error, he immediately informed the staff member, who began shouting and blaming him for taking the wrong order. When I tried to explain that my husband was not familiar with Hindi names, the worker rudely dismissed it, saying, “What nonsense, everybody knows every name.” To make matters worse, he continued yelling and then audaciously instructed his team to “only speak in Bangla with them—that’s when they’ll realize.” This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Domino’s is an international chain, and such regional bias and unprofessionalism have no place here. If your staff expect foreigners to inherently understand Indian names, perhaps they should consider running a regional Bengali chain instead. As a loyal customer, I urge you to address this issue and train your staff to behave appropriately, respect customers, and provide the standard of service expected from an international brand. This experience has left a sour taste, and I hope you take corrective action promptly.
