I went to the Domino's at Huda City Center today to have some pizza. While I was there, I witnessed a customer being rude to a staff member, and in response, the pizza maker dropped a mushroom slice on the floor and then used it in the pizza. The customer got very angry, and when the manager intervened, they made the employee write a resignation letter.
In my opinion, this was not the right approach. Mistakes can happen, and instead of forcing the employee to resign, a warning or reprimand would have been more appropriate. I saw the employee in tears, and that was very distressing. Such actions should be avoided.
It's indeed not appropriate, especially during the festive season, to let go of employees in such a manner. I understand the struggles of making ends meet, and it's important for employers to consider the well-being of their staff, especially during these times. Such actions can have a negative impact on their lives and families.
Please think about that.
