I recently visited Domino’s Pizza | Rajendra Nagar, Hubballi–Dharwad for a takeaway order, and the experience was a blend of efficiency and confusion. The location itself was difficult to recognise, as the entire stretch appeared dimly lit, with many nearby stalls shifting towards Inorbit Mall. The surroundings gave the impression of a space in transition, which made it slightly challenging to identify the outlet at first glance.
Upon entering, we noticed nearly 10–12 staff members present, yet there seemed to be a lack of clarity regarding the ongoing offers displayed on the Domino’s app. When we enquired, the staff kept calling one another, and only one person finally suggested that we place the order directly through the app, assuring us they would prepare it accordingly. What followed was a series of address-related confusions. One staff member mentioned Inorbit Mall, while the app showed the Rajendra Nagar outlet. Even at Inorbit Mall, the explanation was contradictory, with both addresses supposedly pointing to the same place. This inconsistency created unnecessary back-and-forth until one staff member guided us to select the correct address and proceed.
Once the order was placed, things improved. Though the pizza we received was slightly on the warmer side rather than piping hot, it was still prepared and handed over within 30 minutes, which was commendable. The taste was satisfying and up to Domino’s usual standards. However, the oregano and chilli flakes sachets provided felt insufficient for the meal, something that could easily be improved.
Overall, my experience was decent but certainly highlighted the need for better internal coordination and accurate address management. I would rate this Domino’s outlet 4 stars, primarily for the food quality and timely preparation. With clearer communication and updated location details, this branch could provide a much smoother and more impressive customer experience.
